On May 15, Zhang Sheping, Consul General in Luang Prabang, met with Benle, Deputy Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Governor of Laos.

The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cultural exchanges and practical cooperation between Luang Prabang Province and relevant provinces of China, and expressed their willingness to continue the friendly tradition, make good use of railway and aviation links, help build the China-Laos Economic Corridor, and continue to write a new chapter in the construction of a community with a shared future for China and Laos.
