On March 3, the Consulate General in Luang Prabang held a reception for overseas Chinese businesspeople in northern Laos to celebrate the Lantern Festival in 2026. Consul General Zhang Sheping, along with representatives from the Luang Prabang Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Oudomxay Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and Chinese-funded enterprises, gathered together to celebrate the festival.
