On March 8th, International Women's Day, the Consulate General of China in Luang Prabang, together with the Luang Prabang China Chamber of Commerce, conducted a charity event at the Luang Prabang Provincial School for the Deaf and Mute. Du Xiaoxi, wife of Consul General Zhang Sheping, Bo Song, Chairwoman of the Luang Prabang Provincial Women's Federation, female entrepreneurs from the Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of female diplomats from the Consulate General participated.

The Consulate General and the Chamber of Commerce donated schoolbags, food, daily necessities, and other supplies to the children at the school for the deaf and mute. Both sides expressed their willingness to unite women and more social forces to care for and support special groups, enhance people-to-people exchanges, and contribute to the building of the China-Laos community with a shared future.

The children expressed their gratitude in sign language, conveying their emotions with bright smiles, creating a warm and touching atmosphere.
