On March 25, the Lao-China Bank Luang Prabang Branch held its opening ceremony. Zhang Sheping, Consul General of China in Luang Prabang, Khamla, Deputy Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zeng Xiaosong, President of Fudian Bank, Wan Zhiteng, Chairman of Lao-China Bank, and representatives from the financial and business communities of both countries attended the ceremony.

Zhang Sheping stated that the Two Sessions clearly proposed deepening pragmatic cooperation with neighboring countries, strengthening comprehensive overseas services such as finance, and optimizing the international cooperation layout of industrial and supply chains, which will inject strong momentum into China-Laos financial cooperation. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos and is also the "China-Laos Friendship Year." Both sides should more pragmatically promote high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and contribute to the building of a China-Laos community with a shared future.

Lao Fang expressed his willingness to further deepen cooperation between the two countries in the financial sector and advance the building of a Laos-China community with a shared future.
