On April 10, Zhang Sheping, Consul General of China in Luang Prabang, and Vu Ngoc Ly, Consul General of Vietnam in Luang Prabang, attended a friendly event hosted by Phong Xay, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Department of Luang Prabang Province, and exchanged water greetings to celebrate the Lao New Year.

During the exchange, all three parties agreed that China, Laos, and Vietnam are friendly socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. The two consulates general and Luang Prabang Province will actively implement the spirit of the important consensus reached by the leaders, strengthen exchanges and cooperation within their consular districts, enhance the traditional friendship between China, Laos, and Vietnam, and contribute to building a bilateral community with a shared future and a Lancang-Mekong community with a shared future.
