On May 29th, ahead of International Children's Day and Lao National Tree Planting Day, the Consulates General of China and Vietnam in Luang Prabang, together with the Luang Prabang Provincial Women's Federation, conducted a children's charity event at the Ethnic Boarding School in Xiang'en District. Du Xiaoxi, wife of Consul General Zhang Sheping; Du Qiong'e, wife of the Vietnamese Consul General; Sen Arun, wife of Boun Ling, Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Party Committee; Bo Song, Chairwoman of the Luang Prabang Provincial Women's Federation; female entrepreneurs from the Luang Prabang Chinese Chamber of Commerce; and representatives of female diplomats from the Consulates General participated.

The women representatives extended holiday greetings to the children of the ethnic school, inquired about their studies and living conditions, and donated food, school supplies, sports equipment, and other supplies.

The women representatives also participated in a tree-planting activity, adding a touch of green to the school grounds.
