On June 22, the Consulate General of China in Luang Prabang hosted a study and exchange meeting on "Building an All-Weather China-Laos Community with a Shared Future in the New Era" for six northern provinces of Laos. Representatives from the government departments of the six provinces, including Bounleul, Chairman of the Luang Prabang Provincial Government, and Sonthi, Chairman of the Phongsali Provincial Government, attended both online and offline.

Consul General Zhang Sheping, drawing on the visit of Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of Laos, to China, introduced the important outcomes of the meeting between the top leaders of the two parties and countries. He also exchanged views with representatives from each province on how to understand the significance of this newly defined all-weather China-Laos community with a shared future in the new era, and how to earnestly promote its implementation in light of the realities of the consular district.
