Today, we gather here to solemnly celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. First of all, on behalf of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Luang Prabang, I would like to extend a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the guests for their presence!
This morning, a grand gathering celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing. Comrade Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech, comprehensively reviewing and summarizing the glorious history and great achievements of the Communist Party of China in uniting and leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country over the past 105 years. He profoundly revealed the excellent qualities that have enabled the Communist Party of China to continuously forge brilliance, put forward clear requirements for all members of the Communist Party of China to strengthen their confidence and continue their struggle on the new journey, and issued a great call to the entire Party to strive to create new historical glories, further pointing out the direction and providing guidance for realizing the Party's central tasks in the new era and on the new journey.

105 years ago, the Communist Party of China was born, ushering in a new era of development and progress for the Chinese nation. For 105 years, the Communist Party of China has steadfastly upheld its original aspiration and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, uniting and leading the Chinese people in continuous struggle and creating great achievements that will be recorded in history.
——Rising from a nation shattered and facing peril, the Communist Party of China fought bloody battles, persevering through setbacks, uniting and leading the Chinese people to achieve the great victory of the New Democratic Revolution, establishing the People's Republic of China, realizing national independence and people's liberation, and enabling the Chinese people to stand up.
——Starting from a state of utter devastation and poverty, the Communist Party of China relied on its own efforts and worked diligently to complete the socialist revolution, advance socialist construction, establish an independent and relatively complete industrial system and national economic system, and successfully develop the "Two Bombs, One Satellite," laying a solid foundation for national development and the rejuvenation of the nation.
——Through reform and opening up, and a spirit of striving for excellence, the Communist Party of China has emancipated its mind, forged ahead with determination, and resolutely advanced reform and opening up, successfully creating socialism with Chinese characteristics. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos and is also the "China-Laos Friendship Year." Not long ago, at the invitation of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President of the People's Republic of China, Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos, successfully visited China. The two sides issued a Joint Statement on Building an All-Weather China-Laos Community with a Shared Future in the New Era, outlining a new blueprint for the development of China-Laos relations in the new era. The Consulate General is willing to work with all sectors of society in the six northern provinces of Laos to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and countries, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, promote people-to-people bonds, create a safe and favorable development environment, and contribute to building an all-weather China-Laos community with a shared future in the new era.
